We launched Self Evident in 2019 with a goal to build serious infrastructure for Asian Americans to become the authors of their own stories. We put tangible resources into the hands of under-served producers, reporters, and listeners from every corner of Asian America. And we served as an independent production studio, passing the mic to contributors and creators whose voices couldn’t otherwise by amplified on their own terms.

We’ve been on hiatus since 2024, but proudly continue to host our entire history of work, as well as our oral history toolkit, for anyone who’s just found us.
